I grew up in Mondsee, just outside of Salzburg — the very town where the iconic wedding scene between Maria and Captain von Trapp was filmed. That beautiful church isn’t just famous on screen - for me it’s my home church — where I was baptized, confirmed, and where my family and I went to Sunday mass when I was little. My Cousin in Salzburg used to do guided Sound of Music Tours for a long time so she is knows every little detail.
Now we want to make Sound of Music as little touristy as possible and show you the best sights and tell you best stories about it. No sitting in a bus with 50 other people and standing in line to take a picture.” - Wanda
